Come hear the exciting story of our newest Memphis Landmark-Church Health at Crosstown.  Society of Entrepreneurs Member, Dr. Scott Morris is the Founder and CEO of Church Health Center and the man behind the vision of moving this amazing organization to the new Crosstown Concourse.

As the first non-profit member of the Society of Entrepreneurs, Dr. Scott Morris is an example that the entrepreneurial spirit is not limited solely to capitalistic ventures. He is Founder and Executive Director of the Church Health Center, which opened in 1987 to provide primary health care to the low-income, uninsured working people of Memphis. The center, a health care ministry supported by faith and medical communities, averages over 50,000 patient visits a year. In January 2000, Church Health Center Wellness was opened as a part of the Church Health Center to provide a state-of-the-art wellness facility that combines the wisdom of disease prevention and the experience of health professionals with the love and encouragement of the faith community. Church Health Center has grown to become the largest faith-based, privately funded primary care clinic in the country.

Dr. Scott Morris’ other involvements in the Memphis Community include the Urban Youth Initiative, the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society Ethics Committee, Memphis Academy of Health Sciences (inner city charter school), and Healthy Shelby.
